Job Purpose To lead and manage the end-to-end operations of the export unit by overseeing Operations Purchase Production Quality Control and Costing departments The role demands strong leadership strategic planning and execution skills to ensure seamless operations cost-effectiveness high-quality output and timely delivery while fostering a performance-driven culture Key Responsibilities 1 Strategic Operational Leadership Define and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives Drive efficiency productivity and profitability across all operational departments Lead cross-functional coordination to meet export targets and deadlines 2 Purchase Management Develop sourcing strategies to ensure timely procurement of raw materials at optimal cost and quality Establish strong vendor relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations Monitor inventory levels and drive cost-saving initiatives 3 Production Oversight Oversee daily production activities ensuring targets quality and timelines are met Optimize manufacturing processes improve throughput and minimize downtime Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices 4 Quality Assurance Ensure strict adherence to international quality standards and compliance requirements for exports Lead quality audits inspections and corrective action plans Foster a zero-defect culture and continuous quality improvement initiatives 5 Costing and Budget Control Supervise product costing pricing strategies and profitability analysis Work closely with the finance team to manage operational budgets and control variances Drive cost-reduction projects without compromising quality and delivery 6 Team Management Leadership Lead mentor and develop departmental teams across functions Build a high-performance culture with accountability and results orientation Conduct regular performance reviews and promote a collaborative work environment Key Requirements Education Bachelor s Degree in Engineering Production Operations MBA preferred Experience 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing export operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role Industry Export Manufacturing Food Industry FMCG or relevant sector Skills Strong leadership and team-building skills Operational planning and execution Supply chain and procurement knowledge Quality and compliance systems Costing and budgeting proficiency Excellent communication and decision-making abilities Job Type Full time Pay 30 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Expected Start Date 15 10 2025
