Job Title MIS Reporting Executive - Power BI Advanced ExcelIndustry Shipping LogisticsLocation Insert Location Reports To MIS Manager Operations Head Finance Manager as applicable Job Purpose To develop maintain and deliver accurate MIS reports dashboards and data analysis using Power BI and Advanced Excel The role supports management decision-making by ensuring visibility of key operational and financial metrics across shipping and logistics functions Key Responsibilities Design build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI for real-time visibility of shipping and logistics operations Prepare daily weekly and monthly MIS reports using Advanced Excel pivot tables macros VLOOKUP Power Query etc Consolidate and analyze large sets of data related to freight vessel schedules shipments warehouse inventory and logistics performance Provide insights on KPIs such as turnaround time transit delays freight cost optimization container utilization and customer service levels Automate repetitive reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy Collaborate with operations finance and sales teams to gather reporting requirements Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across systems Monitor exceptions identify performance gaps and suggest data-driven improvements Support management with ad-hoc analysis scenario modeling and decision support tools Maintain documentation of reporting processes and ensure compliance with company standards Key Skills Competencies Strong expertise in Power BI DAX functions Power Query dashboard creation data modeling Advanced proficiency in MS Excel macros pivot tables Power Pivot VBA preferred Strong analytical logical thinking and problem-solving skills Good knowledge of data visualization best practices Experience in handling large datasets from ERP TMS WMS systems SAP Oracle Navision CargoWise etc preferred Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines Strong communication and presentation skills Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Commerce Business Logistics Statistics IT or related field 2-5 years of experience in MIS Reporting Data Analysis preferably in the shipping logistics industry Prior exposure to freight forwarding shipping lines or logistics operations will be an advantage Job Type Full time Pay 60 000 00 - 70 000 00 per month
