Job Overview- We are looking for a detail-oriented Transcription Closed Captioning Executive to accurately transcribe audio video content and create high-quality closed captions The ideal candidate should have strong language skills excellent listening ability and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy timing and readability Key Responsibilities- Transcribe audio and video content verbatim or clean verbatim as per project requirements Create and sync closed captions and subtitles for videos films web content ads interviews etc Ensure captions are time-coded accurately and aligned with audio Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar spelling punctuation and consistency Follow captioning standards accessibility guidelines and client specifications Handle multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines Coordinate with the post-production content team for revisions and updates Maintain confidentiality of all audio video materials Required Skills Qualifications- Excellent command of English additional languages are a plus Strong listening and comprehension skills High attention to detail and accuracy Familiarity with transcription and captioning tools software e g Aegisub Subtitle Edit Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or similar Understanding of time-coding and subtitle formatting Basic knowledge of video formats and workflows Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience in transcription or closed captioning Experience working with media entertainment or digital content Knowledge of accessibility standards CC SDH subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing Fast and accurate typing speed Education- Graduate or equivalent language media or communication background preferred Employment Type- Full time Freelance Project-based as applicable Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
