Position Overview The Accountant will be responsible for managing the school s financial records ensuring accurate bookkeeping timely fee collection records statutory compliance and preparation of financial reports in accordance with school policies and applicable regulations Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Finance Maintain daily books of accounts including cash book bank book and ledgers Record all income and expenditure related to school operations Manage fee collection records and reconcile them with bank statements Prepare monthly and annual financial statements Handle petty cash management and expense vouchers Payroll Compliance Prepare salary statements and manage payroll for teaching and non-teaching staff Deduct and deposit statutory dues such as PF ESI TDS as applicable Ensure timely filing of GST Income Tax returns and other statutory compliances if applicable Billing Payments Prepare and verify invoices receipts and payment vouchers Process payments to vendors service providers and staff after approval Maintain records of assets inventory and purchases Audit Reporting Assist in internal and external audits and provide required documents Maintain proper documentation for CBSE education department inspections Prepare financial data for management review and budgeting Administrative Support Coordinate with school administration for financial planning and budgeting Maintain confidentiality of financial data and records Perform other duties assigned by the Principal or Management from time to time Job Type Full time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
