Job Title Assistant Pharmacist Department Pharmacy Reports To Pharmacy In-Charge Job Summary The Assistant Pharmacist supports the Pharmacy In-Charge in daily pharmacy operations ensuring safe dispensing of medicines proper stock handling and compliance with hospital policies and statutory requirements Key Responsibilities Dispense medicines accurately as per doctor s prescriptions Assist in maintaining pharmacy stock including expiry and near-expiry checks Receive store and arrange medicines properly Maintain pharmacy records and registers Support billing and pharmacy software entries Ensure correct labeling and patient instructions Follow hospital policies and Drug Cosmetics Act guidelines Maintain cleanliness and order in the pharmacy Report medication errors shortages or issues to the Pharmacy In-Charge Assist during audits and inspections Qualifications Requirements D Pharm B Pharm Valid Pharmacy Council Registration 1-2 years experience Hospital experience preferred Basic computer knowledge Skills Competencies Attention to detail Positive communication skills Teamwork Basic inventory knowledge Ethical and professional behavior Salary Range 12 000 - 15 000 Job Type Full-time Pay 18 000 00 - 21 000 00 per month Work Location In person
