Job Title Purchase Executive - Hospital Department Purchase Supply Chain Reporting To Purchase Manager Operations Head Location Thane Job Summary The Purchase Executive will be responsible for procuring medical and non-medical supplies required for hospital operations ensuring timely availability cost effectiveness quality compliance and adherence to hospital procurement policies Key Responsibilities Manage procurement of medical consumables medicines surgical items equipment and non-medical supplies Identify evaluate and negotiate with vendors to ensure best quality pricing and delivery timelines Raise purchase orders POs and ensure timely follow-up for deliveries Coordinate with stores pharmacy nursing biomedical and user departments to understand requirements Ensure stock availability and avoid stock-outs or overstocking Maintain vendor master data and procurement records Verify invoices against purchase orders and goods received notes GRN Ensure compliance with hospital policies statutory requirements and quality standards Handle emergency and urgent purchases as required Assist in vendor performance evaluation and contract renewals Support audits and provide necessary procurement documentation Qualifications Experience Education Graduate in any discipline B Com BBA Supply Chain preferred Experience 2-5 years of relevant experience in hospital or healthcare procurement Knowledge of medical consumables equipment and hospital procurement processes is mandatory Skills Competencies Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Good knowledge of hospital materials and inventory management Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Hospital Management Systems Robust coordination and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent requirements Attention to detail and cost-control orientation Preferred Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals Familiarity with medical equipment and biomedical procurement Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
