Role Overview As a Senior Pathology Technician you will lead the processing of biological specimens tissue blood and fluids to identify abnormalities You will be the technical lead in histology or cytology ensuring that slides are prepared to the highest standard for pathologist review and that all automated diagnostic platforms are functioning perfectly Core Responsibilities Specimen Processing Expertly perform grossing fixation embedding sectioning microtomy and staining of tissue samples Advanced Staining Oversight of Immunohistochemistry IHC and Special Stains ensuring proper controls are utilized and interpreted Quality Assurance Lead the daily QC QA checks to meet accreditation standards such as CAP College of American Pathologists or ISO 15189 Slide Review Perform initial screenings of cytological or histological preparations to ensure clarity and diagnostic quality before they reach the Pathologist Safety Biohazards Ensure strict containment of bloodborne pathogens and proper disposal of chemical waste e g Formalin Xylene IF ANYONE INTERESTED PLEASE REACH OUT TO US AT (phone hidden) Or VISIT AT HOSPITAL DIRECTLY Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Work Location In person
