Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Software Engineer to join our Platform and Development Acceleration PDX organization This role will focus on building our next-generation AI-native development platform named Modern SaaS AIR The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in open-source technologies specifically real-time data processing and AI analytics using Rust Golang Kubernetes Amazon EKS and AWS If you are customer-obsessed have a passion for innovation operational excellence and are looking to take technical leadership to the next level this is the role for you Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end capability development for an open-source real-time data processing and AI analytics product Serve as a technical leader and domain expert influencing technology and product direction Drive and collaborate on design and architecture ensuring effective planning and high-quality execution through all project phases Develop and maintain scalable and efficient code adhering to best practices in coding testing and deployment Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adjacent teams to ideate and solve complex problems together Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team encouraging exploration of new ideas and technologies Mentor and assess engineers fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented team environment Stay current with developments in the Kubernetes ecosystem and explore new tools frameworks and methodologies to improve the platform s functionality and performance Ensure operational excellence designing for low MTTD MTTR HADR fast recovery self healing Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field 8 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend technologies Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity with minimal guidance Proficient in Rust Golang Kubernetes Amazon EKS and AWS Expertise in Kubernetes specifically Amazon EKS - Operator pattern Kubernetes clients Kubernetes controllers shared informers cache etc Expertise in real-time data processing technologies Experience with CI CD pipelines infrastructure as code monitoring and logging tools and techniques Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and driving technical decisions Strong understanding of design patterns API design data modeling and operational planning Experience with performance load and failure mode testing and resolution Demonstrated ability to handle incident management and operational escalations A commitment to writing high-quality code and improving existing codebases Excellent communication and collaborative skills Passion for delivering solutions that delight customers and meeting high standards in service reliability and efficiency Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach This position may be eligible for a cash bonus equity rewards and benefits in accordance with our applicable plans and programs see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit Careers Perks Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge skills experience and work location To drive ongoing fair pay for employees Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender The expected base pay range for this position is
