Honeywell is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer I to join our dynamic engineering team In this role you will be involved in designing developing testing and deploying highquality software solutions for Honeywell s innovative products and platforms You will work with modern technologies such as Java Spring Boot Hibernate Angular SQL along with cloud services on Azure AWS contributing toward scalable and secure enterprise applications Design develop and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot and Hibernate Build responsive and user-friendly UI components using Angular Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and deliver highquality features Perform unit testing integration testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality Work with relational databases SQL to design schemas write queries and optimize performance Deploy and manage applications on Azure or AWS cloud environments Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions Follow Honeywell s software development lifecycle SDLC best practices and security guidelines Continuously learn emerging technologies and contribute to team knowledge building Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field Strong programming skills in Java Hands-on experience with Spring Boot Hibernate JPA Front-end development experience with Angular HTML CSS TypeScript Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts Basic understanding of cloud platforms Azure or AWS Knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture Strong debugging analytical and problemsolving skills Ability to work collaboratively in an agile workplace Honeywell helps organizations solve the world s most complex challenges in automation the future of aviation and energy transition As a trusted partner we provide actionable solutions and innovation through our Aerospace Technologies Building Automation Energy and Sustainability Solutions and Industrial Automation business segments - powered by our Honeywell Forge software - that help make the world smarter safer and more sustainable
