Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee and execute the civil and structural works involved in the construction of an industrial plant The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering site execution and project coordination ensuring that construction activities are completed safely on schedule within budget and in accordance with quality standards and design specifications Key Responsibilities Plan execute and monitor civil construction activities at the plant site including site preparation foundation work structural installations drainage and roadworks Review and interpret engineering drawings construction plans and technical specifications Coordinate with design teams contractors vendors and other disciplines mechanical electrical etc to ensure seamless integration of civil works Manage on-site civil contractors ensuring work progress aligns with project schedules and quality requirements Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all civil work complies with safety regulations and quality standards Monitor and report on progress cost control and resource utilization Prepare and maintain documentation including daily reports site logs quality checklists and inspection reports Participate in project planning budgeting scheduling and risk assessments Identify and resolve any construction or engineering issues that may arise on-site Ensure environmental health and safety EHS standards are strictly followed Qualifications and Experience Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering B E B Tech from a recognized institution X years of experience in industrial plant construction e g power manufacturing process plants Solid knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations Proficient in project management tools AutoCAD MS Project and civil design software e g STAAD Pro ETABS is a plus Familiar with relevant codes and standards IS ACI BS etc Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience working on EPC Engineering Procurement and Construction projects Certification in Project Management PMP PRINCE2 or Construction Management is an advantage Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and modern civil engineering techniques Work Conditions Site-based role with extended hours as required during peak construction phases Requires physical presence on-site and occasional travel to vendor locations or project meetings Job Types Full time Contractual Temporary Contract length 60 months Pay 25 000 00 - 38 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Food provided Health insurance Internet reimbursement Provident Fund Work Location In person
