we help companies across industries get ahead and stay ahead Powered by curiosity courage and innovation our teamsimplementdata technology and AItocreate tomorrow today Get to know us atgenpact comand onLinkedIn X YouTube andFacebook Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant FinOps CoreStack SMEIn this role you will be responsible for oversee the cost optimization methods of the cloud projects and provide cost saving recommendations regularly ResponsibilitiesOversee the management and optimization of cloud costs across multiple platforms AWS Azure GCP Implement cloud cost management strategies and best practices to ensure efficient use of resources Lead the development and implementation of FinOps practices across cloud environments Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending to identify cost-saving opportunities Collaborate with business engineering and operations teams to align cloud usage with business goals Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for cloud cost visibility and forecasting Provide guidance on cloud pricing models reserved instances savings plans and spot usage Establish and enforce tagging strategies and cost allocation methodologies Educate stakeholders on cloud financial management best practices Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis for cloud expenditures Evaluate and implement FinOps tools and automation solutions Work closely with Core stack vendor in implementing the granular reporting and customized dashboards for client requirements Create custom reports and dashboards with the options that are available in the FinOps tool Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications SkillsBachelor s degree in Finance Computer Science Engineering or related field Experience in cloud financial management cloud operations or IT finance Strong understanding of cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and their pricing models Experience with cloud cost management tools e g CoreStack CloudHealth Cloudability nOps CloudZero Proficiency in data analysis tools Excel Power BI Tableau and scripting Python SQL is a plus Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Skills FinOps certifications such as Certified FinOps Practitioner or similar AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent cloud certificationsExperience with automation and scripting e g Python PowerShell Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices Experience with financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Why join Genpact Lead AI-first transformation -
