Purchase Executive Packing Materials - Mumbai Position Overview The Purchase Executive Packing Materials will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of all packaging materials required for cosmetic product manufacturing This position demands expertise in sourcing vendor management negotiation and a keen understanding of the packaging needs specific to the cosmetics industry The role is based in Mumbai and reports directly to the Purchase Manager Head of Procurement Key Responsibilities Procurement of Packaging Materials Identify source and purchase primary and secondary packaging materials such as bottles jars tubes boxes labels and other related items required for cosmetic products Vendor Development and Management Establish and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and manufacturers Evaluate vendor performance based on price quality delivery and service Negotiation Negotiate terms pricing and contracts to obtain the most advantageous deals ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality Quality Assurance Ensure that all packaging materials meet the company s quality standards and regulatory requirements Coordinate with the Quality Control and Production teams for sample approvals Inventory Management Monitor stock levels maintain optimal inventory and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure seamless supply to the production line Market Research Stay updated with the latest trends innovations and technologies in cosmetic packaging Identify alternative materials and new suppliers to foster innovation and cost savings Documentation and Compliance Manage all purchase documentation including purchase orders contracts and invoices Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies Coordination Liaise with internal departments such as R D Production Quality Assurance and Finance to align procurement activities with overall business objectives Qualifications and Experience Bachelor s degree in commerce Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field A diploma or certification in Materials Management or Procurement will be an added advantage Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement preferably within the cosmetics FMCG or packaging industry Thorough knowledge of cosmetic packaging materials suppliers and quality standards Proficient in MS Office ERP systems and procurement software Strong negotiation communication and analytical skills Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet stringent deadlines Key Skills Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities Solid attention to detail and quality orientation Good interpersonal and communication skills Problem-solving and decision-making skills Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements related to packaging materials Team player with a proactive approach Remuneration Salary will be commensurate with experience and industry standards Additional benefits as per company policy Location Mumbai Maharashtra India Application Process Interested candidates may submit their CV and cover letter to hrsovereigngrp gmail com with the subject line Application for Purchase Executive - Packing Materials Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Ability to commute relocate Mumbai Maharashtra Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience total work 5 years Preferred
