JD for an Accountant Head Job Title Senior Accountant Head Location Ghatkopar West Mumbai Experience Minimum 8-10 Years Department Accounts Finance Reporting To Director CFO Senior Management About the Role We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant Head to lead and manage our organization s accounting operations The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely finalization of accounts overseeing the accounting team and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and statutory requirements Responsibilities Accounting Finalization Finalization of monthly quarterly and annual accounts Ensure timely closing of books and preparation of Balance Sheet P L Account and Cash Flow Supervise bank reconciliation ledger scrutiny and general accounting operations Monitor and control accounting entries and adjustments Taxation Statutory Compliance Oversee GST TDS and other statutory returns and payments Coordinate with auditors for statutory tax and internal audits Handle tax assessments notices and queries with consultants Team Management Lead and mentor the accounts team ensuring smooth departmental workflow Allocate responsibilities and review work for accuracy and completeness Conduct regular review meetings and provide training where required Financial Planning MIS Generate MIS reports variance analysis and financial insights Collaborate with management for budgeting and forecasting Support decision-making with accurate financial data and trends Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s in Commerce Finance CA Inter or MBA Finance preferred Experience in Trading Manufacturing Company 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in core accounting functions Strong understanding of finalization taxation and compliance Proficiency in Tally Prime and Excel Good analytical leadership and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure Benefits Prospect to lead the department and work with senior leadership Exposure to strategic financial planning and full-cycle accounting Job Type Full-time Pay 800 000 00 - 1 000 000 00 per year Work Location In person
