ob Title Mechanical Design Engineer - Packaging Machinery Experience 3 Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop packaging machines and automated systems The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical engineering skills experience in designing custom machinery and a solid understanding of packaging line requirements You will play a key role in bringing creative efficient and reliable packaging solutions to life Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom packaging machinery including conveyors wrappers fillers sealers and labeling systems Produce 2D and 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using CAD software e g SolidWorks AutoCAD Perform mechanical calculations and simulations loads stresses tolerances etc to validate designs Select mechanical components such as motors gearboxes linear actuators and pneumatic elements Collaborate with electrical controls and automation engineers to ensure integrated machine functionality Support prototyping assembly and testing of machines resolve design-related issues during build and commissioning Optimize designs for manufacturability cost-efficiency and maintenance Participate in design reviews risk assessments and safety evaluations in accordance with industry standards Maintain accurate documentation and revision control of designs Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 3 years of experience in machine or equipment design preferably in packaging or automation Proficiency in CAD tools e g SolidWorks AutoCAD Solid understanding of mechanical systems motion design pneumatics and manufacturing processes Design in packaging machines conveyors pneumatics motor and hydraulics Familiarity with packaging industry standards and machinery safety regulations Strong problem-solving analytical and project management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with packaging line integration e g upstream downstream equipment interfaces Knowledge of servo systems PLC basics and mechatronics Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement Hands-on experience with machine assembly and troubleshooting Interested Candidates can send their cv on (phone hidden) or mail us on jobs mountsolutions in Job Type Full-time Pay 50 000 00 - 70 000 00 per month Schedule Fixed shift Work Location In person
