A Welding Quality Control QC Inspector ensures all welding operations meet technical specifications safety regulations and industry standards e g AWS ASME ISO through inspection documentation and testing Key responsibilities include reviewing Welding Procedure Specifications WPS verifying welder certifications conducting pre post-weld inspections VT NDT and maintaining detailed quality records Key Responsibilities and Duties Pre-Welding Inspection Verifying joint preparation fit-up material grades cleanliness and that the WPS is available and understood During-Welding Monitoring Ensuring correct filler metals preheat interpass temperatures and welding parameters are used Post-Welding Inspection Performing visual inspections VT for cracks undercut and porosity and overseeing NDT UT RT MPI LPT Documentation Reporting Generating inspection reports maintaining non-conformity reports NCRs and ensuring material traceability Safety Compliance Ensuring all welding activities adhere to health safety and environmental regulations Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 12 000 28 - 15 000 12 per month Work Location In person
