The successfull candidate will be responsible for mammalian cell culture process development at Apcegen Technologies IIT Kanpur to optimize and validate existing clinical product manufacturing processes and to develop and characterize upstream processes of novel recombinant proteins biosimilars for research and clinical application Responsibilities Efficiently conduct all aspects of upstream mammalian cell culture operations including mammalian cell transfections and selection of stable cell lines scalable cell expansion and fed batch methodologies assembly operation and control of small scale bioreactors analysis of cell growth metabolic activity and productivity and methods for harvest clarification Perform process optimization and validation based on design of experiment approaches of upstream processes Develop upstream processes for novel pipeline products and monoclonal antibodies for research and development efforts Write technical development reports for technology transfer and regulatory submission Participate in technology transfer to the client sites in India as well other countries Develop and perform analytical methods on cell culture media to support process development and pilot scale production Troubleshoot technical issues and improve processes for higher efficiency Maintain scientific excellence and attention to detail in area of protein biochemistry Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to advance Company goals hands on experience of small scale protein purification and HPLC would be an addeded advantage Effective communicator and interpersonal skills Team player Job Type Full time Work Location In person
