Core responsibilities Patient Care Provide specialized care to critically ill and premature infants Monitoring Continuously monitor vital signs heart rate blood pressure oxygen saturation and overall condition Medication and Treatment Administer medications IV fluids and nutrition as prescribed by physicians which may involve complex calculations and double-checking Equipment Operation Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators incubators and phototherapy lights Assessment and Procedures Perform diagnostic tests and assist in procedures like IV cannulation Family Support Educate and provide emotional support to parents and families regarding the infant s condition and care Documentation Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and document all care provided Team Collaboration Work closely with neonatologists respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans Required skills and qualifications Registered Nurse RN licensure Experience in NICU pediatric or critical care settings Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP certification Strong clinical skills in areas like ventilator management IV therapy and patient assessment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 18 471 98 - 30 242 71 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
