About EXL Health Payments Analytics At EXL Health Payments Analytics Center of Excellence we would like to involve passionate individuals with growth startup mindset to experiment fail fast learn and contribute to our 5 fold growth story of 100M to 500M Our Typical day We are considered Special investigation Unit by 5 of top 10 US health insurance companies and others helping with their audit of fraud and overpaid claims Our revenue is outcome driven which means health insurance companies provide data only and do not pay any consulting cost or resource-based billing upfront unlike typical consulting and services companies So we make money by finding money for our clients in simple terms commission basis We Productize algorithms and R D accelerators that are intended to be used across multiple health insurance clients for the above business case About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our team of analytics experts in Health Care payment integrity As a Senior Business Analyst you will get an opportunity to work with various payers and providers and get to know how we reduce provider abrasion and help provider engagement with our innovative and highly scalable solutions Responsibilities o Work closely with executive leadership to formulate the provider touch strategy and implement solutions to improve provider engagement and reduce provider abrasion o Work with cross functional stakeholders to implement the organization wide provider touch projects o Analyze data and build frameworks to enhance provider experience and provider insights to payers o Develop interactive and actionable visualizations through data interpretation and analysis with reporting components from multiple data sources o Understand the machine learning models and NLP products landscape and produce actionable insights recommendations for better adoption Skillsets o 6 yrs of experience in the field of data analytics o Bachelor s or Management degree in mathematics computer science economics or statistics related with exposure to data decision making projects o Strong SQL Python BI tools Power BI Tableau Cloud platforms and Excel skills are necessary o Candidates with US health care domain understanding is preferred o Ability to solve business problems and deliver technical solutions o Understanding of data analytics statistics and data management concepts with ability to apply them o Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple concurrent projects o Collaborative and team player o Desire to work within a fast-paced setting o Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible in taking on various projects
