1 Design Drafting Prepare and review 2D 3D fabrication drawings using AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar CAD tools Interpret engineering drawings customer specifications and technical data Ensure designs are manufacturable and aligned with shop floor capabilities 2 Nesting CNC Programming Perform nesting operations using software like SigmaNEST ProNest NestFab or Lantek Generate CNC programs for laser plasma oxyfuel or waterjet cutting machines Optimize sheet utilization to reduce scrap and minimize material waste 3 Material Planning Coordinate with stores and planning teams to ensure the right sheet plate material is available for nesting Maintain nesting logs and update usage data for traceability 4 Production Support Provide support to the shop floor for resolving design or nesting-related issues Ensure timely release of nesting programs and drawings to meet production deadlines 5 Documentation Standards Maintain revision control of design and nesting files Follow industry and company-specific standards for tolerances welding symbols and fabrication notes 6 Continuous Improvement Suggest improvements in part design to improve nesting efficiency Work with cross-functional teams to enhance cutting productivity and quality Job Type Full time Pay 15 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person Expected Start Date 10 08 2025
