About the Role

The ZED Coordinator will identify eligible manufacturing MSMEs, explain the benefits of the Government of India’s MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification Scheme, assist units with registration and documentation, and coordinate the certification process until completion.

Key Responsibilities

Visit industrial areas, manufacturing clusters and MSME units

Identify eligible Micro, Small and Medium manufacturing enterprises

Generate leads through field visits, associations, directories and references

Explain ZED Certification benefits, levels, subsidies and incentives

Counsel MSME owners and conduct awareness meetings

Assist with ZED Pledge, portal registration and online applications

Collect and verify Udyam, GST, PAN, address proof and other documents

Coordinate assessment scheduling and certification-related activities

Follow up with applicants until certification is completed

Maintain records of leads, applications, payments and certification status

Build relationships with MSME owners and industrial associations

Submit daily, weekly and monthly progress reports

Achieve assigned registration and certification targets

Eligibility

- 12th Pass, ITI, Diploma or Graduate
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply
- Experience in field sales, MSME services, government schemes, certification, banking,



insurance or business development will be preferred
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is preferred
- Smartphone and basic knowledge of online forms, Excel and mobile applications are required

Required Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in meeting and counselling business owners
- Field sales and lead-generation ability
- Basic computer, internet and documentation knowledge
- Robust follow-up and reporting skills
- Self-motivated and target-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of the local industrial area will be an advantage

Preferred Candidate:
- Energetic, disciplined and presentable
- Comfortable with regular field visits
- Able to explain government schemes in simple language
- Capable of building trust with MSME owners
- Willing to travel within the assigned territory
- Able to work independently and maintain accurate records

Salary & Benefits:
- Fixed salary: 20,000 to 30,000 per month, depending on experience and performance

Important: This is primarily a field-based position involving regular visits to MSME manufacturing units, industrial clusters and business associations.
