Role Description The Workflow Optimization Specialist is a part-time remote role focused on improving operational processes within the Faculty of Design’s projects and internal activities. The specialist will analyze existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose structured optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and collaboration across academic, artistic, and research initiatives.
Day-to-day tasks include collecting and interpreting data from various teams, mapping processes, documenting best practices, and supporting project leads in implementing new tools or methods. The role also involves preparing explicit reports and recommendations, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and monitoring the impact of implemented changes to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and data analysis capabilities to assess workflows and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in workflow optimization and process improvement methodologies.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with academic, administrative, and project teams.
- Project management skills to coordinate optimization initiatives and track progress.

- Experience in educational, creative, or design environments is an advantage.
- Relevant academic background in business, operations, design management, or a related field preferred.
