Role Description The WordPress Developer will design, build, and maintain WordPress-based websites and web applications that support Pravixa AI’s clients and internal initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing custom themes and plugins, configuring and optimizing WordPress installations, and ensuring sites are secure, performant, and scalable. The role involves collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technically sound,



user-friendly solutions.

The WordPress Developer will also troubleshoot issues, perform regular updates, optimize sites for SEO and speed, and ensure responsive behavior across devices and browsers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including responsive web design and user-focused web design.

Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills relevant to WordPress, such as PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs.

Candidates should possess practical Web Development experience, including WordPress installation, configuration, theme and plugin customization.

Candidates should possess familiarity with performance optimization, security best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.

Candidates should possess proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern tooling (e.g., version control systems like Git).

Candidates should possess robust problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

Experience with UI/UX principles, SEO best practices, and cloud-hosting environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, or similar) is beneficial.
