- Perform TIG / MIG / ARC welding on fabrication components
- Read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Carry out fit-up, alignment, and assembly before welding
- Ensure defect-free welding (no cracks, porosity, etc.)
- Operate tools like grinder, gas cutting equipment
- Follow safety standards and PPE guidelines
- Coordinate with fabrication and production teams
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of SMAW / GTAW / GMAW welding processes
- Experience in heavy fabrication / pressure vessel welding
- Ability to read blueprints and WPS
- Knowledge of carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel
Qualification:
- ITI (Welder Trade) or equivalent
