Job Title: Cashier

Department: Customer Service / Sales

Reports To: Store Manager / Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Location: Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and skilled manner.

- Handle all customer transactions including purchases, returns, and exchanges.

- Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment.

- Accurately process payments using cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.

- Issue receipts, refunds, or change as necessary.

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

- Assist customers with inquiries or direct them to appropriate departments.

- Monitor inventory near the cash register and report low stock levels.





- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer service.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.

- Strong numerical and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays if required.
