Job Summary The Waterproofing Engineer is responsible for inspecting, planning, and executing waterproofing solutions to prevent water leakage and moisture damage in buildings and structures. The role involves selecting suitable materials, supervising application work, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with project teams to protect structural integrity and extend service life.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect roofs, basements, terraces, bathrooms, water tanks, foundations, and other areas prone to leakage.
Identify causes of seepage, dampness, cracks, and water intrusion.
Recommend appropriate waterproofing systems such as membranes, coatings, sealants, and chemical treatments.
Supervise surface preparation, application, curing, and finishing of waterproofing materials.
Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, civil teams, and maintenance staff.
Ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Conduct quality checks, leakage tests,
and post-application inspections.
Prepare reports on defects, corrective actions, and project progress.
Ensure compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory requirements
Skills And Qualifications Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Knowledge of waterproofing systems, construction materials, and defect analysis.
Experience in site inspection, material application, and leakage rectification.
Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Valuable communication and documentation skills.
Familiarity with safety practices at construction sites
Minimum Qualification Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum Job Experience 3 to 5 Years
