Job Purpose:

- To build an integrated, best in class and future ready distribution network which significantly enhances the competitive edge for ABLBL’s brands in the market place across all channels

- Engagement with 3PL service providers w.r.t. KRAs & SLAs in in line with the business requirement- by having right quality of people and systems for the operations and their management to meet the requirements. Bringing process improvement through 5S , Kaizen and SGA programs.

- To impact the profitability of the business with a clear focus on improving the service levels (OTIF, DIFOT, turnaround time, order to delivery lead time, etc) and WH Cost

- Keep a watch on levers to influence productivity drive, simplify the operations & strengthen the processes

- Ensuring operations in line with the safety adherence at the site and ensuring compliant operations

- Significantly enhance the scalability, reliability, agility, sustainability and efficiency of the warehouse function with robust processes and engaged team members that can successfully benchmark it against global standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

To ensure the financial & customer service targets for the warehouse function

- Achieve the budgeted sales by ensuring the optimal planning of resources and managing the skews and showcasing agility in supply chain

- Deliver cost efficiency by ensuring that the total cost of warehousing per piece is within the budget

- Continuously look for ways to improve throughput, bring down the cost per piece & to reduce wastages in existing warehouses.

Warehouse Business Solutions

- Drive and design warehouse process to improve the productivity / accuracy / efficiency

- Ensure process compliance in the unit

- Ensure inwards and outwards are completed within the set timeline to meet the demands of the market

- Ensure deliveries in Warehouse are completed on time





- Ensure returns accounting completed as per norms

- Implement 5S & Kaizen at the workplace

- Implement WM related process like Batch Mgmt, Flow through, HU mgmt., Cycle count and Physical Inventory, Inbound and Outbound process with integration of RF devices.

- Coordination with Statutory /internal auditors to conduct Process & Inventory Audit.

Inventory control

- Driving the reconciliation of system information flow

- Control the system transaction for inward and outward

- Ensure that warehouses have best in class stocks accuracy & visibility

- Driving right control of WH Inventory - Improve Inventory Management Process & accuracy.

Customers

- Provide effective warehousing & logistics services to customers by providing visibility of inventory as well as faster dispatches to stores.

- To improve supply chain efficiency & improve inventory management by better using & implementing best warehouse practices

- Continuous interaction with Business with reference to their requirements.

- Ensure and maintain the desired OTIF and DIFOT targets

- IT team to get required customization on time as well as to meet IT requirement of warehouse on time.

Warehousing Budget & Financia l

- Leading WH budgeting exercise in line with the scope & scale of the businesses across brands & facilities

- Ensure warehouse expenses are in line with budget

- Have a control on Capex, Stock Control at warehouse

- Reduce working capital.

Effective team management & leadership

- Provide direction, empowerment and motivation to the warehouse team

- Ensure the availability of top-quality talent to take up responsibilities in various roles

- Set up cross functional teams and project plans to realize opportunities

- Ensure processes are in place to coach, develop and nurture talent so as to create a succession pipeline

- Set and monitor processes to evaluate and reward people effectively and objectively
