Network Support Engineer / Network Infrastructure Specialist

Key Skills Required

Must-Have Skills

- Strong understanding of 2-Tier and 3-Tier Network Architecture.
- Ability to troubleshoot and triage:

- Network Switches

- Routers

- Firewalls
- Wi-Fi Infrastructure
- Strong expertise in Wi-Fi optimization, performance tuning, and wireless network troubleshooting.

- Experience with

- Switch/Port Configuration

- Network Tracing

- VLAN Segmentation

- Strong knowledge of

- LAN

- WAN

- VPN

- Wireless Networking Technologies
- Experience working in Network Operations, Technical Support, or Network Engineering environments.
- Hands-on experience with:

- Aruba Switches

- Aruba Access Points

- Aruba Central

- Ekahau Wireless Tools

- Fortinet Firewalls
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across:

- Windows

- Android
- iOS Platforms
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Exposure to POS systems and retail technology environments.
- Hands-on experience with:

- Workspace ONE (AirWatch)

- Zebra Mobility Devices

- Honeywell Mobility Devices

- VoCollect Solutions

Roles & Responsibilities




- Collaborate with Network Operations and Network Engineering teams to support enterprise network infrastructure.
- Perform network device support activities, including:

- Switch reboots

- Router maintenance

- Firewall troubleshooting

- Access Point support

- Hardware replacement and installation
- Assist in network infrastructure maintenance activities, including cable replacement, hardware refresh, and device deployment.
- Configure switch ports and perform VLAN segmentation activities.
- Conduct Industrial Wi-Fi assessments, including:

- Coverage Analysis

- Interference Mitigation

- Wireless Optimization

- Seamless Roaming Validation
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and infrastructure issues.
- Support wireless and mobility infrastructure initiatives across enterprise locations.
- Create and maintain documentation for:

- Network Architecture

- Network Communication Services

- Service Traffic Flows

- Mobility Solution Designs
- Ensure adherence to network standards, operational procedures, and service-level objectives.

Preferred Candidate Profile 8-12 years of experience in Network Support, Network Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering

Robust expertise in enterprise networking and wireless technologies

Experience with Aruba networking solutions and Fortinet security products

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
