Job Summary The MIS Executive is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and analyzing sales reports to support business decision-making. The role involves handling large volumes of sales data, creating daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, tracking sales performance, and ensuring data accuracy.

Excel skills are essential, as the role relies heavily on dashboards, formulas, and data analysis. Retail organizations typically use MIS teams to monitor sales performance and provide actionable insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sales MIS reports.
- Track sales performance by Store, Region, Category, Brand, and Sales Executive.
- Create and maintain Excel dashboards for management reporting.
- Analyze sales trends and provide business insights.
- Prepare sales target vs. achievement reports.
- Generate productivity reports for sales teams.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales data.
- Coordinate with Store Managers, Regional Managers, and Sales Teams for data collection.




- Prepare management presentations and performance reports.
- Maintain master data and update databases regularly.
- Support incentive calculations based on sales performance.
- Prepare reports related to inventory, stock movement, and sell-through.
- Identify data discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of business data.

Required Skills

- Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Charts)
- Strong knowledge of MIS reporting
- Data analysis and reporting
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP (preferred)
- Power BI knowledge (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree (B.Com/BBA/B.Sc/BCA) or MBA.
- Certification in Advanced Excel or Data Analytics is an added advantage.

Experience

- 36 years of experience in MIS, Sales MIS, or Business Reporting.
