Role Description This is a full time, on-site Waitstaff role based at Van Rasa by Isles & Vales in Kasauli. The Waitstaff team member will greet guests, present menus, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages in a timely, courteous manner.

Responsibilities include setting up and clearing tables, ensuring cleanliness of the dining area, and coordinating with kitchen staff to deliver a smooth service experience. The role involves answering guest questions about menu items, managing special requests, and handling payments with care and accuracy. The team member is expected to follow hygiene and safety standards, support colleagues during busy periods,



and represent the brand with a professional and friendly attitude.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage guests respectfully and handle feedback or concerns calmly.
- Experience or familiarity with food & beverage operations and food service procedures in a restaurant or café setting.
- Clear and confident communication skills for taking orders, explaining menu items, and coordinating with the kitchen team.
- Basic cooking or food preparation understanding is an advantage for communicating effectively with the kitchen and guests.
- Attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to hygiene and safety standards in food handling and overall restaurant operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates safely; prior waitstaff or hospitality experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; local language skills and basic English proficiency are beneficial.
