Role: Visual Design Intern - Events, Learning & AI-Powered Content (Path to Full-Time)

We're hiring not-your-average design interns. This role sits at the intersection of brand design, live events, learning content, and AI-assisted creativity - you'll design a social post in the morning, storyboard a learning slide by lunch, and be on the ground taping down signage by evening.

The Fun Part:

- Dreaming up activity assets, games, and icebreakers for events
- Gamifying learning concepts to make them genuinely engaging
- Playing with AI tools to generate concepts faster than ever
- Being part of the buzz and energy of a live event day

The Serious Part:

- Hitting brand guidelines and print-ready specs, every time
- Managing tight timelines with zero room for last-minute chaos
- Being a calm, capable presence on the ground when things go sideways

Core Responsibilities:

Design & Concept

- Design digital and production-ready assets for corporate events (invites, signage, kits, decks)
- Concept and design activity assets, presentations, and learning & development modules

On-Ground Event Management

- Support setup, execution, and troubleshooting on event days
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders in real time

AI-Powered Design

- Prompt AI tools (Claude, Gemini, image generators) to accelerate and enhance asset creation
- Evaluate, refine, and finish AI-generated output to a qualified standard

What We're Looking For:

- A strong visual design portfolio - any tools, any style, as long as the thinking shows
- Comfort with, or genuine curiosity about, AI creative tools
- Willingness to work on-site during events, including some early/late hours
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Experience with Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite

Nice to Have:

- Any prior exposure to instructional design or L&D; content
- Past experience volunteering or working at live events
