About the Role

We are seeking a creative, passionate, and technically proficient Videography & Video Editing Executive to join our Content & Media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, capturing, editing, and producing engaging visual content that effectively communicates BJS's mission, programs, and impact.

The role requires strong storytelling abilities, technical expertise, and the flexibility to travel for documenting field activities, events, and beneficiary stories.

Employment Type: Contractual (3 Months, with possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities

Videography

- Plan, organize, and execute video shoots for campaigns, events, interviews, training programs, documentaries, and promotional content.
- Capture high-quality footage at the BJS office as well as field locations.
- Document the impact of BJS initiatives through compelling visual storytelling.
- Operate professional cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and other production tools.




- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, creative direction, and scripting requirements.
- Ensure proper maintenance and handling of all video production equipment.
- Travel to project locations and events for documentation whenever required.

Video Editing

- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos aligned with organizational branding and communication objectives.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, animations, subtitles, background music, voiceovers, and sound effects where appropriate.
- Ensure all video content adheres to BJS brand guidelines, messaging, and visual identity.
- Optimize videos for multiple platforms including social media, websites, presentations, YouTube, and internal communications.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative, Marketing, and Communications teams to produce impactful multimedia content.
- Manage multiple editing projects while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining quality standards.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback and deliver final outputs within agreed timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Film Production, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in professional videography and video editing.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end video production, from planning and shooting to editing and final delivery.
- A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing previous work is mandatory.





Technical Skills

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of camera operations, lighting techniques, audio recording, and sound design.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with NGOs, social enterprises, or development sector organizations.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Photography and photo editing skills.
- Willingness to travel for field documentation, events, and program coverage.

- Full-time, work-from-office role based in Pune.

- Regular travel for events, field visits, and documentation assignments.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard office hours during events, campaigns, or production deadlines.
