Role Description The Video Editor role at Stranger Mingle is a full time, on-site position based in Liverpool, NY.

The Video

Editor will capture, edit, and assemble video content that showcases events, participant stories, and the brand’s community-focused mission for social media, campaigns, and promotional materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the marketing and creative teams to plan video concepts, organizing and managing footage, performing detailed edits,



and applying color grading and motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling. The role also involves adapting content for different platforms, ensuring brand consistency, maintaining an organized asset library, and meeting deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing to plan, capture, and assemble high-quality video content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, engaging, and brand-appropriate visual styles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create compelling visual elements, transitions, and on-screen text.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of social media video formats and best practices are preferred.
- Effective communication skills, the ability to take feedback constructively, and experience collaborating with creative or marketing teams are advantageous.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
