Role Description The Video Editor role at OT Ecosystem is a part-time, remote position focused on producing high-quality video content that supports industrial cybersecurity education and engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into polished videos, applying transitions, effects, and sound design, and ensuring consistent visual style across all media.

The Video

Editor will collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to translate complex cybersecurity topics into explicit, engaging video formats such as explainers,



interviews, webinars, and promotional clips. Additional tasks may include basic motion graphics, color grading, optimizing videos for digital platforms, managing media assets, and adhering to brand guidelines and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills, including experience with non-linear editing software and workflow management.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills, with the ability to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent tone and style.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create simple animations, titles, lower thirds, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of audio editing, basic sound design, and exporting video in formats optimized for web and social platforms.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills; familiarity with cybersecurity or technology topics is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in video editing roles; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work is required.
