Role Description The Video Editor role at Maa Production is a full-time, on-site position based in Kota.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting key scenes, and creating cohesive, visually compelling video content aligned with project objectives. Daily tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and refining pacing to meet creative and technical requirements. The role also involves basic color correction, collaborating with the production team to understand project briefs, incorporating client feedback, and preparing final deliverables for various platforms and formats.

Editor is expected to maintain organized project files, meet deadlines, and contribute ideas to enhance overall video quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing to handle end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to refine visual tone, consistency, and overall image quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and simple visual elements that support storytelling.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic familiarity with color grading tools (e.g., DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and incorporate feedback while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in office.
- Relevant experience in video editing or a portfolio demonstrating completed projects; a diploma or degree in film, media, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
