Role Description The Video Editor - Intern role at Academic Insights Magazine (AIM)® is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The intern will assist in editing video content for interviews, panel discussions, feature stories, and social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with the magazine’s editorial standards and brand guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage, assembling sequences,



applying basic transitions and effects, and collaborating with the editorial and design teams to develop engaging visual narratives.

The role also involves supporting color correction and easy motion graphics tasks, optimizing videos for various digital platforms, and maintaining an organized asset library.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing.

Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading.

Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics.

Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to follow editorial guidelines.

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-based, on-site environment.

Current enrollment in or recent completion of a media, film, communication, or related program is preferred.
