Role Description The Video Editor – Indira Nagar role at Gencosys is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. This role involves editing raw video footage into polished content, applying transitions, effects, and sound to create engaging visual narratives for marketing, training, and internal communication projects.

The Video

Editor will collaborate with creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements, follow brand guidelines, and deliver videos aligned with campaign objectives. Daily responsibilities include organizing footage, managing project files, performing basic color correction, integrating motion graphics,



and exporting content optimized for various digital platforms. The role may also involve contributing creative ideas for storyboarding and improving overall video quality and viewer engagement.

Qualifications

Strong skills in video production and video editing, including handling raw footage and assembling final cuts.

Proficiency in video color grading to ensure consistent and high-quality visual output.

Experience with motion graphics and graphics to enhance videos with titles, overlays, and animations.

Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

Ability to follow brand guidelines, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and basic understanding of sound design.

Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Prior experience in corporate, agency, or digital content video editing is an advantage.
