Role Description The Video Editor role at HAIR RAP BY YOYO is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The Video

Editor will capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content that showcases the salon’s services, creative transformations, and brand story across digital platforms. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, refining sequences, adding transitions and effects, syncing audio, and performing color correction to maintain a consistent visual style. The role also involves collaborating with the salon team to plan video concepts, create short-form content for social media,



and adapt videos for different channels and formats.

The Video

Editor will be expected to manage project timelines, organize media assets, and ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and visual standards.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end video projects.

Proficiency in Video Color Grading to achieve consistent, appealing visuals that reflect the brand’s aesthetic.

Ability to create Motion Graphics and work with Graphics to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.

Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).

Valuable understanding of social media video formats and trends (Instagram Reels, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).

Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to work with creative direction and feedback.

Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant education or certification in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in lifestyle, fashion, or salon-related content is a plus. HAIR RAP BY YOYO
