Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Garg Production.

The Video

Editor will assemble raw footage into polished, compelling videos, including cutting, sequencing, and adding transitions to align with project objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include color grading, sound syncing, basic audio adjustments, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements as needed. The role also involves collaborating with producers and other team members to interpret briefs, refine edits based on feedback, and ensure timely delivery of content for various digital platforms.

Editor is expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage and creating cohesive narratives.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent look and feel.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics integration to create engaging visual elements and titles.
- Knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, incorporate feedback, and work independently in a remote workplace.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail in handling multiple projects.
- Prior experience in a video production or post-production role; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
