Role Description This is an internship role for a Video Editor based in Bengaluru, with a hybrid work model that allows a mix of in office and work-from-home days.
The Video
Editor intern will assist in editing and producing video content for digital platforms, including social media, educational content, and brand campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, applying basic color corrections, incorporating graphics and motion elements, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and messaging.
The role also involves collaborating with the marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements, maintaining organized file structures, and delivering content within agreed timelines. The intern will have opportunities to contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling and improve audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage and creating coherent, engaging video narratives.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, appropriate mood, and high-quality output across all video content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design and integrate text overlays, transitions, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Basic familiarity with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, Illustrator, or Canva) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow brand guidelines and feedback in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Interest in healthcare, wellness, or Ayurveda is a plus, along with a willingness to learn about the brand’s values and audience.
- Relevant coursework, portfolio, or prior project experience in video or multimedia production is preferred.
