Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Video Editor at Alpha Motion.

The Video

Editor will assemble and edit raw footage into polished video content for marketing, social media, branded campaigns, and other client projects. Daily tasks include cutting and arranging clips, applying color grading, adding motion graphics and titles, and integrating audio elements to enhance overall quality. The role also involves collaborating with producers and designers, following creative briefs, managing multiple projects and deadlines, and exporting deliverables in the required formats.

The Video

Editor is expected to maintain organized project files, adhere to brand and technical guidelines,



and contribute creative ideas to improve visual storytelling.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including assembling footage, storytelling, and preparing content for various platforms.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to balance, correct, and stylize visuals to achieve consistent, professional results.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual elements that support the narrative.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
- Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with creative and client-facing teams.
- Prior experience in a video editing or post-production role; a portfolio or reel showcasing relevant work is highly beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field is a plus but not required.
