Overview

We're seeking a mobile phone videographer to capture, edit, and publish short-form video content across our restaurant locations and catering events. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social video, works independently, and can turn everyday moments into scroll-stopping content.

Key Responsibilities

Travel to all restaurant locations and catering events to film on-site content using a smartphone and basic mobile gear (gimbal, mic, lighting).

Capture a variety of footage including food preparation, plated dishes, kitchen and staff moments, customer experiences, event setups, and behind-the-scenes clips.

Edit videos on mobile or desktop apps (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Premiere) into polished short-form content optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.

Add captions, music, trending audio, transitions, and on-screen text in line with current platform trends and our brand voice.

Post and schedule content across social channels, maintaining a consistent posting cadence.

Stay current on social media trends, sounds, and formats, and proactively pitch creative video concepts.





Coordinate schedules with restaurant managers and the catering/events team to plan coverage in advance.

Organize, back up, and archive raw and finished footage for easy retrieval.

Track basic performance metrics (views, engagement) and adjust content approach accordingly.

Ensure all footage reflects brand standards, food presentation quality, and appropriate customer/staff consent.

Qualifications

Proven experience creating short-form video content, ideally for food, hospitality, or lifestyle brands (portfolio required).

Solid mobile videography and editing skills; comfortable shooting and editing entirely on a phone.

Solid understanding of social media platforms and what performs on each.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations and events, including some evenings and weekends.

Self-starter who can work independently, meet deadlines, and manage a content calendar.

Good eye for lighting, composition, and food styling.

Nice to Have

Basic photography skills, graphic design experience, or familiarity with paid social/ads.
