Role Description The VFX Line Producer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities across multiple VFX projects. This role manages project schedules, tracks shot progress, and coordinates closely with supervisors, artists, and clients to ensure timely delivery within agreed budgets and scope.

The VFX Line Producer prepares and maintains detailed production plans, allocates resources, and supports pre-production activities including bidding, cost estimation, and workflow planning. They monitor financials, manage change requests, identify risks, and communicate project status clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners. The role also involves fostering efficient production processes, maintaining documentation,



and supporting a collaborative, solutions-focused studio setting.

Qualifications

- Strong Line Production skills for VFX, including handling multiple projects, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with creative and technical teams.
- Experience in TV Production or long-form content pipelines, with an understanding of broadcast and OTT delivery requirements.
- Pre-production expertise, including bidding, scheduling, resource planning, and workflow design for complex VFX work.
- Proficiency in Budgeting and cost control, with the ability to create, manage, and report on production budgets and financial forecasts.
- Production Management capabilities, including stakeholder communication, risk management, and maintaining clear documentation and processes.
- Familiarity with VFX pipelines, shot-tracking tools, and production software (e.g., Shotgun/ShotGrid or similar systems).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience as a Line Producer or Production Manager in VFX, animation, or post-production; prior work on feature films, series, or commercials is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film production, media, animation, or a related field is preferred.
