Key Responsibilities

- Provide Strategic Leadership: Lead the overall academic and administrative functioning of the university, driving its long-term vision, growth strategy, and institutional excellence.
- Drive Academic Innovation: Provide leadership for curriculum design, programme development, pedagogical innovation, and the introduction of future-ready academic offerings aligned with industry and global trends.
- Institution Building: Strengthen the university's reputation through academic quality, research excellence, accreditation, rankings, international collaborations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Governance & Administration: Work closely with the Governing Board and senior leadership to ensure effective governance, policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and achievement of institutional objectives.
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee academic planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management to ensure sustainable institutional growth.
- Faculty Leadership: Attract, mentor,



and develop high-performing academic leaders and faculty while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, research, and continuous professional development.
- Quality Assurance & Accreditation: Lead initiatives related to NAAC, NBA, NIRF, international rankings, quality assurance, and continuous institutional improvement.
- Research & Innovation: Promote interdisciplinary research, innovation, industry partnerships, consultancy, and externally funded projects to enhance the university's academic ecosystem.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build solid relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, industry partners, alumni, international universities, and other key stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless coordination across academic schools and administrative functions while driving operational efficiency, student success, and a culture of accountability and excellence.

Ideal Candidate:

- 25 years of senior leadership experience in Higher Education.
- Ph.D. in any discipline.
- Proven experience leading large multidisciplinary academic institutions.
- Strong understanding of accreditation, rankings, governance, and institutional development.
- Outstanding leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities.
