Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial) or equivalent

- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in vendor engineering, preferably in manufacturing (e.g., CNC turning, grinding, milling, boring, hardening)

- Technical Skills:

- Proficient in reading engineering drawings

- Familiar with manufacturing processes (CNC machining, surface finishing, heat treatment)

- Basic computer skills (MS Excel for data analysis & reporting)

- Vendor Management:

- Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing new suppliers

- Ability to assess vendor capabilities, quality standards, and production capacity

- Proven track record in vendor performance evaluation (quality, cost, delivery, service)

- Skill in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts to drive cost-effectiveness

- Soft Skills:

- Robust coordination abilities with internal teams and external vendors

- Detail-oriented with ability to ensure timely material availability
