Experience
5+ years in automotive cockpit / IVI / cluster / infotainment testing Role Overview The Test Engineer Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for Automotive Digital Cockpit systems, including Infotainment, Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Display (HUD), Multi-Display Systems, Connectivity, and Vehicle Integration.
This role contributes to the overall quality strategy by enabling scalable, reliable, and repeatable test execution across software, system, and vehicle levels, working closely with development, integration, and validation teams within a multi-supplier automotive ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
experience in scripting for test execution, data validation, and test framework development.
Hands-on experience with test execution frameworks and tools(like Robot, ECU test), enabling scalable, reusable, and maintainable automated test solutions.
Experience working with ECU test tools for software, integration, and system-level validation.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous testing, including automated build, test execution, and reporting.
Hands-on experience with CANoe and dSPACE tools for ECU simulation, network analysis, and system validation.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, or equivalent.
Experience with automotive test execution tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer, CAPL, Jenkins, Git, and related CI tools.
Hands-on experience with SIL / HIL / bench testing environments.
Knowledge of Android and/or Embedded Linux platforms, including system services, middleware, and debugging.
Robust understanding of automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, SOME/IP, IPC.
Experience in automated testing of display, camera, audio, touch, connectivity, and HMI subsystems.
Proficiency in debugging using tools such as ADB, logs, trace tools, GDB, and protocol analyzers.
Collaborate closely with Architecture, Development, System Engineering, DevOps, and Program teams.
Own defect lifecycle management, RCA, and quality metrics reporting.
Ensure compliance with ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Automotive Quality Standards.
Core Technical
Skills
Strong understanding of Automotive Digital Cockpit architectures.
Experience with hypervisor‑based, multi‑OS platforms: Linux, Android Automotive, QNX, RTOS
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN, Automotive Ethernet SOME/IP, DDS, A2B, IPC
Experience validating connectivity and projection features: Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, USB, OTA
Experience with test execution frameworks and tools Expertise with ALM/SCM tools: Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA, ALM, Test Management tools
Strong experience with log analysis, debugging, and tracing tools.
