Role Description The UX/UI Designer Intern role at CollabKaroo is a remote internship focused on designing intuitive, engaging experiences for creators using the platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in user research, helping translate user insights into wireframes and prototypes, and contributing to the design of key product flows.

The intern will support the team in refining interface layouts, visual elements, and interaction patterns to ensure consistency and usability across web and mobile experiences. Collaboration with product managers, developers, and other designers to iterate on design solutions, collect feedback, and perform basic usability checks is expected.



The role also involves documenting design decisions and maintaining design assets to support ongoing product development.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of UX design processes, including user research, persona development, user flows, and wireframing.
- Ability to create clean, consistent UI designs using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.
- Basic understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles, interaction design, and accessibility best practices.
- Strong visual communication skills, including layout, typography, color, and iconography.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design ideas and incorporate feedback constructively.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Current student or recent graduate in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred, but self-taught candidates with relevant portfolios are welcome.
- A portfolio or samples showcasing UX/UI work (academic, personal, or freelance projects) that demonstrate design thinking and attention to detail.
