About the Role
We're looking for a UI/UX Designer who can move fast without cutting corners — someone fluent in AI design tools who uses them to explore more directions, ship faster, and free up time for the craft that actually moves the needle: making products people love using and can't stop coming back to.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end UI/UX for web and product surfaces, from early concepts to shipped,
polished screens
- Use AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Figma AI, v0, Galileo, or similar) to rapidly generate and iterate on design directions, cutting time-to-first-draft without sacrificing quality
- Design for engagement — onboarding flows, retention loops, micro-interactions, and moments that make a product feel alive, not just functional
- Translate rough ideas, briefs, or wireframes into world-class visual design with strong typography, layout, and motion sense
- Partner with product and engineering to make sure designs are technically feasible and ship close to how they were designed
- Maintain and evolve design systems/component libraries so speed doesn't come at the cost of consistency
- Stay ahead of design and AI-tooling trends and bring new techniques into the team's workflow
What We're Looking For
- 3–4 years of UI/UX design experience with a robust portfolio showing range — not just wireframes, but finished, polished visual design
- Hands-on fluency with AI design/generation tools as part of your actual workflow, not just experimentation
- A sharp eye for what makes an interface engaging — you can point to specific work where a design choice measurably improved usage, retention, or conversion
- Strong fundamentals: typography, layout, color, motion — AI tools speed you up, they don't replace taste
- Comfort working fast and iterating in public — sharing early, rough directions rather than polishing in a silo
- Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) and modern prototyping tools
Nice to have: front-end coding basics (HTML/CSS/React), motion/animation design experience, or a background designing consumer apps with strong engagement metrics.
