Role Description The User Experience Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging experiences across digital touchpoints for HAIR RAP BY YOYO, such as websites, booking platforms, and salon-related applications. This full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad involves conducting user research with clients and staff, mapping user journeys, and applying design thinking to improve the end-to-end salon and digital experience.

The designer will create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with the brand’s creative identity and business goals. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with salon management and marketing teams, gathering feedback,



iterating on designs, and ensuring that all digital experiences are accessible, user-centered, and consistent. The role also involves staying current with UX best practices and industry trends to continually refine and enhance client interactions with the brand.

Qualifications

- Ability to apply Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) principles to create user-centered solutions.
- Strong User Research skills, including conducting interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Proficiency in Visual Design and Prototyping using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Experience creating wireframes, user flows, and interaction designs for web and mobile interfaces.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Communication Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work, from research and ideation to final visual design.
- Robust communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and basic front-end capabilities is beneficial.
- Prior experience in lifestyle, beauty, fashion, or service-oriented industries is an advantage.
