About the Role We are looking for a motivated US IT/Engineering/State Recruiter with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in US staffing, specifically supporting State Government clients. The ideal candidate should have experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle and working on multiple state accounts while delivering quality candidates within tight deadlines.
Required Experience - 1–2 years of experience in US IT/Engineering Recruitment.
- Hands-on experience recruiting for State Government clients, including:
- State of North Carolina (SoNC)
- State of Mississippi (SOMS)
- State of Georgia (SOGA)
- State of Virginia (SOVA)
- Experience working on contract positions for state government agencies.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities - Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requirement analysis to candidate onboarding.
- Source, screen, interview, and submit qualified candidates for State Government IT requirements.
- Work on multiple state client requisitions simultaneously while meeting submission and hiring targets.
- Perform resume screening, technical qualification, and candidate evaluation.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Negotiate pay rates and facilitate offer management.
- Ensure compliance with client submission requirements and documentation.
- Maintain candidate pipelines using ATS and job portals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and internal account managers.
Required Skills - Strong sourcing skills using job portals, LinkedIn, and Boolean search.
- Experience with ATS and recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of US employment terms such as W2, C2C, and 1099.
- Understanding of US work authorization/visa types (H1B, H4 EAD, GC, USC, OPT, CPT, TN, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting multiple State Government clients simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize high-volume requirements.
