GameGenesis Build the Games of Tomorrow At GameGenesis, we're looking for a passionate Unreal Developer Intern who wants to turn ideas into immersive gameplay experiences. You'll work with our designers, artists, and programmers to build game mechanics, optimize gameplay systems, and contribute to exciting projects powered by Unreal Engine 5. If you're passionate about game development and enjoy solving technical challenges, we'd love to have you on our team. --- Your Mission - Develop gameplay systems and mechanics using Unreal Engine 5.
- Implement features using Blueprints and/or C++.
- Collaborate with designers to transform game concepts into interactive experiences.
- Debug, test, and optimize gameplay systems for performance and stability.
- Integrate animations, UI, audio, and visual effects into gameplay.
- Assist in building and maintaining reusable gameplay systems.
- Work closely with artists and technical teams to ensure smooth integration of game assets. --- We're Looking For Someone Who - Has experience with Unreal Engine 5.
- Understands Blueprint Visual Scripting.
- Has basic knowledge of C++ (preferred but not mandatory).
- Understands object-oriented programming fundamentals.
- Has strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Is passionate about game development and eager to learn.
- Works well in a collaborative team setting. --- It'll Be Awesome If You Also Have - Experience with multiplayer systems.
- Knowledge of AI systems, Behavior Trees, or Navigation Meshes.
- Experience with Animation Blueprints, Niagara, or UMG.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Experience shipping personal or academic game projects.
